Tickner
Thickener is designed and manufactured for the purpose of purifying waste water from mines such as iron, copper, aluminum, quarries, tile and ceramic factories, and sand washers. Since the effluent of these industries contains suspended particles and high TSS, it is possible to use purified water in the production line with the design and construction of thickener and create high savings in the operating costs of the production units.
In the design and construction of the thickener, the incoming effluent has high solids and due to the difference in density between the particles and the liquid, these particles are settled and separated from the bottom of the tank in the form of underflow. Purified water goes out in the overflow stream. In general, in the design and construction of the thickener, the diameter and height can be calculated using mathematical modeling and engineering software.
